AFKA Celebrates the Holidays and Brushes Up Its Walls
On December 11th, Arizona Family Karate Academy hosted its annual Holiday potluck dinner for its students, instructors, and families. More than 125 friends gathered to enjoy fellowship, fun, and good food, bringing everything from beef stroganoff to barbequed chicken, tamales to tenderloin, and plenty of fabulous side dishes, desserts, and other assorted goodies.
The main highlight of the party was the unveiling of the new AFKA logo, painted and donated to the school by Leslie Jones and Bill Moroney, which is the showpiece of the studio! Sensei Poland wishes to offer her sincere gratitude to both Leslie and Bill, and to all of the participants (especially you instructors!) who helped make this year’s dinner such a wonderful event! It was a great opportunity to connect with the friends and family of AFKA, and we look forward to these opportunities on a more frequent basis throughout the new year!
